Epping Forest District Council London Asbestos Removal – Norway House £500K
Acting as Principal Contractor and employing several follow-on trades, AAR undertook this competitive tender contract over a period of some six months.
Removing asbestos to ceilings was the initial task with subsequent reinstatement and decoration. Impressed with the quality of the product, AAR were further instructed to oversee re-roofing, window fitting, installation of door entry systems and further re-decoration, all delivered within budget and on time. A great example of London asbestos removal as part of a larger managed project.
Heathrow Airport Boiler House – £107K
This work was completed over a two month period and involved the removal of Asbestos insulation from pipework, mainly at high level. AAR acted as Principal Contractor and handled the arrangement of scaffolding, reinsulation etc. The work was completed on time and
within budget.

J D Wetherspoon PLC – Howard Hall Asbestos Removal – £29K
To enable a conversion into a public house, just two weeks was taken to complete various tasks within the building, including the removal of pipe insulation to floor ducts and roof voids.
A great example of how rapidly asbestos removal can be done.

This project, carried out in six weeks, involved the removal of Asbestos insulation from pipes, calorifiers etc., within the boiler room and included removal of contamination from the walls. AAR then removed all redundant pipes etc. from the boiler room to enable the subsequent re-fit of new services. The project was completed ahead of schedule and under the envisaged budget.

National Grid Co PLC – Aberthaw Sub Station – £108K
Over four weeks AAR completed successful asbestos decontamination of the sub-station to allow the client to concentrate on its core activity – supplying electricity.
Working to strict training regimes to negate the high voltage electrical hazard, AAR delivered on time.
Jones Lang Lasalle Warehouse – £220K
AAR secured the contract via competitive tendering to remove sprayed Asbestos insulation from steel beams to a warehouse in Ipswich. The ten week contract proved successful being completed within time and to budget.
Pinewood Studios Ltd 2nd Floor Roof Void – £88K
Six weeks seemed a little ambitious to complete this project to remove Asbestos insulation and contamination from the roof voids including the contaminated lathe and plaster ceilings. AAR pulled out all the stops and handed over on time to enable the client sufficient time to complete a refurbishment programme.
